Background
The City took centre stage when the Encana Events Centre opened in Spring 2008. In 2021, the Encana Events Centre became the Ovintiv Events Centre (see news release here)
The Ovintiv Events Centre is a state-of-the-art, multi-events centre with 4,500 permanent seats, and 27 VIP Luxury Suites, that is the premier entertainment facility for the entire British Columbia and Alberta Peace Region.
